About Us

Cornerstone Baptist Church was started in 1994 with about 18 people.

We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the North Carolina Baptist Convention, and the Surry Baptist Association.

Worship is blended (traditional hymns and contemporary praise)

Dress is casual (but you will see some neck ties)

Atmosphere is friendly and relaxed

Nursery is available and staffed by our church members

Bible Classes (Sunday School) are available for all ages, preschool to senior adult

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, that faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven, and that the church is His Body on Earth to perform His mission until he returns.
